This is the Mercedes solution to the 404 Hood props. Originally the 404 was produced with a prop on the drivers side edge of the hood. This has a tendency to cause the hood "wing" to crease and deform. We recently received a limited number of original updated hood props. This is a MUCH better design. It also acts as a hood catch not allowing the hood to over extend against the cowl. Installation should take less than 15 minutes.
