EICSB117 - TOB Lube Procedure
This procedure is a "Last Ditch" effort to lubricate the TOB while in the vehicle. Procedure will take less than an hour and may save you 6-8 hours labor to replace the TOB. The key to this procedure is catching the TOB when it just begins to "squeek" but has not caused damage. This is NOT an MB authorized repair. We usually tell people to expect a TOB replacement, and if you are lucky you may get away with just lubing the bearing.
